Scriptures from the Holy Bible, King James (Authorised)
Version of 1611
Book of Hebrews, chapter 6, verses 4 through 8
4 For it is impossible
for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift,
and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted
the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall
fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to
themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth
which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth
herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which
beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose
end is to be burned.
Holy Bible -- King James Version
Verses 4-6
A terrible problem arises in the advent of someone accepting Christ and
later rejecting Him, turning away from the Promise. He, Jesus, died
once for the sins of all. He cannot be crucified again! Whosoever accepts
God's Gift in a freewill choice, and later in another freewill choice turns
away, must accept that they bring all the horrors of the grave and hell upon themself. Don't want to believe
God could allow such a thing? Read the next two verses-
Verses 7-8
Those who receive the Gift of Salvation bring forth praises, honor and
glory for the God of Creation who provided the Gift, and continue to receive
His blessings always; but for those who dishonor His Holy Name and bring
shame upon the Name of God- well, dear friend, read the Scripture for yourself.
Encourage everyone you know who calls on Jesus for hope and Salvation to
stay the course, to bring honor and glory to Him Who loved us first.
There is one God, one Hope of Salvation, and One Eternal Kingdom yet to come. Accept Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour today. Tomorrow- well, there may not be a tomorrow available for you. Today is the day of salvation. It is a freewill choice that you alone can and must make. Please, choose life in Christ. May God bless you always!
